The "American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009" was signed into law on February 17, 2009.
According to the ACT, H.R.1 Section 4101, physicians who implement an EHR (Electronic Health Record)
system by 2012 will receive a first stimulus payment of $18,000.00 of the total of $44,000.00 or more
available to each physician.
Tele Comm has been involved in EHR systems for several years. Many of our clients have implemented
EHR systems that are working together with our TCXMED software to bring their offices to maximum
efficiency and a totally paper-less environment. Tele Comm can help an office purchase, lease, or rent any
piece or all of the system, including hardware and software. Furthermore, Tele Comm can provide the
critical support that is necessary to insure that the system continues to perform with an absolute minimum of
down time.
To assist in the physicians making the best EHR decisions, Tele Comm is providing links to various official
websites to help physicians fully understand the stimulus process the necessary requirements for
implementation.
